Mito is a recruit who has just been drafted into the army, he is out of his civilian clothes and stripped naked, being new the marshal is arranging getting him his new uniform, in delivering it he reminds him of the rules, including those of taking care of the uniform. If the uniform is lost or damaged Mito is made to understand he will have to undergo a severe corporal punishment.

Next, to the amazement of poor Mito the marshal tells him that he wants to give him a good training spanking immediately as his welcome to the army. Mito knows there is no escaping this, so he knows he must demonstrate that he has the courage to face a good spanking like a brave man so as to be seen as a good soldier. Mito then has to receive severe canings and whippings with the riding crop on his bare buttocks, all this punishment is interspersed with heavy-handed spankings by hand. Eventually he makes it through and earns his uniform.
