As one of an occasional series revisiting some of Sting’s earlier DVDs, we meet the popular actor David who among his many roles appeared in Instruments of Persuasion. In a story entitled “All Smoked Out” which runs through the DVD, between other scenes, David is featured in two scenes during which his magnificent bare bottom is punished by two of the various Instruments of persuasion in the title.

The first of these is the cane, which David receives after he and a buddy are caught smoking at school

Later that same day ………..

When David gets home later that day, he is introduced to a second instrument of persuasion the Razor Strop, which his Dad uses on him when he discovers David has been punished at school

David also appears in Instruments of Persuasion Part 2, in which he receives the French Martinete and also a firm hand spanking, images from which were posted here last November.

Dad has noticed money keeps going lost from his wallet, so he marks it. He frisks his sons to see which of them has stolen the money and finds it in his youngest son’s pocket! Dad, infuriated, throws him over his knee for a well deserved spanking! Just before tea, the brothers are fighting again and the snitchy older brother tells dad he should go and look under his pillow to see what he spends the money he steals on: drugs! Again the poor boy is thrown over dad’s knee for a hard spanking until he’s begging for it to end. But then dad takes his slipper and carries on giving him a hard slippering. When it’s all over he’s made to stand in the corner while the rest of the family have their dinner.

News Story: It’s unlikely most schoolboys would want to be spanked and end up with a red bottom when they misbehave.

But students at St Augustine High School in New Orleans, Louisiana, have been holding a rally to support corporal punishment at the school, including paddling.

The practice was put on hold this year by the board of trustees after the Archbishop of New Orleans, Gregory Aymond, 61, said it does not belong in a Catholic school.

Hundreds of students at the predominately African-American school chanted in unison during a rally: ‘Leave St Aug alone, leave St Aug alone’.

St Augustine student Ajani Gibson told the crowd: “Regardless of how you may personally feel about the paddle – what our school is doing works.”
