Rupert with Toby Haines in “A Fine Pair You turned Out To be”

It is JockSpank’s sad duty to, again, announce the loss of another stalwart of the Male Spanking Community, The unique character, who went by the name of Rupert Pendragon, and who Published the Corporal Contacts newsletter and website, died unexpectedly at his London flat last week.

Corporal Contacts is the UK’s (and probably the world’s) longest established magazine for, as stated on the website, “gentlemen with an interest in consensual adult corporal punishment”. It was established in 1982, and has been going for 43 years. Published four times a year and packed with stories, letters from subscribers, personal adverts, trade adverts and photographs.

For quite a few years it was one of the few means, by which men with an interest in spanking could communicate and share information.

Rupert lived in London, but was a frequent visitor to his mother’s homeland in the Czech Republic, where he was a well known and much loved figure. He was also a friend of Rich and Rob at Sting and appeared in two Sting films “A Fine Pair You Turned Out To Be” and “The Sixth Formers – Knaves and Knives” (from which, I have included some pictures of Rupert instructing Rudi Vallance in the evils of knives and pornography below)

As with many such enterprises, Corporal Contacts was very much a one-man business, hence it is currently unclear what will happen to it going forward. However, if we know more, we will announce it here.
