Although Christoper Atkins is still making movies, he is still probably best remembered for his nude underwater trysts with Brook Shields in the 1980 castaway movie “Blue Lagoon” and by gay men of a certain age for a charming willingness to take off his clothes.
Here he is in a scene from one of his otherwise less memorable movies, taking a whipping from a decidedly camp baddie.

I love Chris Atkins. More male actors should be as comfortable presenting their bodies as he has been.
