I’d be interested if anybody had ideas about where that tennis match was taking place. It is clearly not Wimbledon, for many very obvious reasons. There is, however, a reason that might not be so obvious – this is where a little specialist knowledge can spice things up a bit: the lad in the video clearly has coloured underpants on and the Wimbledon dress code for players forbids men to wear coloured pants under their white tennis shorts. Only in 2017, three young players were sent off court at Wimbledon to remove their coloured underpants and change into white ones provided by the powers that be. It seems that several pairs of white briefs are kept at Wimbledon against such an eventuality. I would have liked to see them laid over the knee in their coloured pants for a good smacked bottom – thereby making the punishment fit the crime! Incidentally, last year Wimbledon relaxed the rule for women players about coloured briefs. For the sake of fairness and equality, the same must surely follow for the men?!
